I will be presenting a clinic entitled
"The Symphonic Approach to Your Low Brass Section"
In this clinic, educators will investigate means of promoting excellent blend, balance, and sound for the low brass section in a classical setting. Using excerpts from standard band and orchestra repertoire and live performers from Colorado State University, I will explore approaches to breathing, articulation, section roles, and rehearsal strategies for your middle and high school trombone, tuba, and euphonium players. Participants are encouraged to bring their instrument to the session for some interactive play-along portions.
